GBA Webinar on Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Bioeconomy

The Global Bioeconomy Alliance is pleased to host the next webinar in its series dedicated to fostering international dialogue and collaboration on sustainable and inclusive bioeconomy development.

The webinar will open with a welcome address by Cristina Chuck (Tecnológico de Monterrey), including an update on the upcoming Global Bioeconomy Alliance Conference. It will then feature presentations from leading researchers exploring how biotechnology and sustainability-driven innovation can contribute to a circular bioeconomy.

Participants will gain insights into the conversion of agricultural residues into biofuels, the recovery of valuable resources from industrial wastewater, and biotechnology-based approaches to improving environmental performance in mining systems. Together, these presentations highlight innovative solutions for sustainable resource use and environmental stewardship.
